Unfortunately, we’ve all been there.  You and your team are facing a problem.  Yet rather than working with you to come up with a solution, your manager or co-worker swoops in squawking like a seagull, dumps orders riddled with formulaic advice, then takes off, leaving everyone else to clean up the mess.  Or – let’s be honest – there’s been a time (or two) when you might have even been guilty of this behavior yourself.

• Call someone out on their SQUAWK-iness and help them realize exactly what they are doing
  
• Apologize to your poor co-worker(s) or team members who might have been a victim of your own moment of SQUAWK-iness
  
• Or commiserate with a fellow victim of office SQUAWK-iness.
